Bio

Gabriela Rodriguez Beron is a software developer, facilitator and data wrangler from Uruguay, living in the US. She works, most of the time, for Tactical Tech Collective [0], where she facilitates the program Gender and Technology [1]. She is also a consultant working with ILDA [2] co-creating a data standard on feminicides in latinoamerica. She sometimes collaborates with Open News [3] and Internet Freedom Festival [4]. In the past she co-founded a non-profit [5] that works with data and transparency in Uruguay and worked at La Nacion Data [6] as a fellow from Open News. In the last couple of years she worked for two years at the Coral Project [7], building tools to improve community spaces in journalism. She is a feminist, activist, and mom to two kids.
